CLINIC — HOSPITAL ADMISSION
With your completed set of documents, you're admitted to the ENT Center at the "Aksay" Children's Center. The scheduled admission date is set by the clinic. On arrival, go to the clinic's admissions department (1st floor). Bring with you: a disposable razor, hairpins and hair ties.

The cochlear implant surgery is performed by the clinic's surgeon. The procedure takes place in a specialized operating room using a surgical microscope and microsurgical equipment.

The ENT Center at the "Aksay" Children's Center specializes in high-tech surgical care for children with ear, nose and throat conditions.
One of its key areas is cochlear implantation. The first cochlear implantation surgeries in the Republic of Kazakhstan were performed at the "Aksay" university clinic. Today, the number of surgeries reaches two hundred per year. Surgery at the center is performed by Aigul Rakhmanovna Medeulova, Doctor of Medical Sciences and professor at the ENT department of Asfendiyarov KazNMU.
Patients at the audiology department are seen by Rimma Petrovna Suatbayeva, chief freelance audiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a top-category audiologist with many years of experience.
The center is introducing modern pediatric ENT methods, including endovideosurgery of the larynx, and treatment of congenital anomalies, stenoses, and polyps of the larynx and vocal cords. The specialists' experience is used in developing and updating clinical protocols.
A separate area of work is surgical treatment of congenital ear malformations, including microtia and atresia of the external auditory canal. The center conducts joint research with Xinjiang Medical University and develops international training for specialists: residents and ENT specialists complete specialized dissection courses in Poland and other European countries.
