Get a hearing aid for free

1. If you have a disability due to any condition (other than hearing)

To receive compensation for a hearing aid, follow these steps:

• Contact a local therapist or general practitioner and get a referral to an audiologist.
• Undergo an audiological examination with the audiologist, who will determine the list of necessary tests.
• Return to the therapist or general practitioner with the test results and get a referral for a medical and social examination (MSE).
• Based on the MSE results, receive an individual rehabilitation program (IPAR) stating that you need a hearing aid.
• Register on the aleumet.egov.kz portal using a digital signature. Choose a suitable hearing aid.aleumet.egov.kz
• Submit an application to receive the device, attaching the necessary documents.
• After approval, receive the device at a hearing aid fitting center. Mir Sluha is available under BIN 061140012525.
• People with disabilities are entitled to compensation once every four years.

2. If you have a hearing-related disability

Compensation for hearing aids is available under the following medical indications:

• For children: grade III hearing loss on one side and grade IV hearing loss on the other.
• For adults: grade IV hearing loss on both sides.

The procedure for obtaining compensation is the same as described above.

3. If you don't have a disability

To receive a hearing aid funded by the local budget, follow these steps:

• Contact a local therapist or general practitioner and get a referral to an audiologist.
• Undergo an audiological examination.
• Contact the local employment and social programs department (akimat).
• Submit an application for a device funded by the local budget.
• After approval, receive the device at a hearing aid fitting center.
